We are a Non-Government Organisation (NGO), funded by the Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department, and operate within a national network of Family Violence Prevention Legal Services, servicing Indigenous Communities in remote and rural Australia.
The FVLSAC - SA has offices at the following locations (please see individual tabs for each office):
The FVLSAC is governed by a community based Board of Directors consisting of Aboriginal Community Leaders, supported by professional directors who provide equal representation from the three areas.
Our organisation is commited to the federal and state governments’ Closing the Gap initiative, by seeking to provide legal and community support services to help improve the lives of Indigenous Australians, and in particular provide a better future for Indigenous children.
The FVLSAC is a survivor-victim focused service, and we do not provide assistance to perpetrators of crime.
It is a core foundation of our service to promote healthy relationships and lifestyles within Aboriginal Communities.
